EASTER IN BIARRITZ: from Saturday 20 April to Monday 22 April 2019
- Saturday: Here the Easter tradition is to serve delicious omelettes all over Biarritz.
Provided by your local shops and district committees, the omelettes can be enjoyed in 14 different tasting areas in the town to delight your palate and taste buds.
- Sunday: a chance to play hide and seek for chocolate eggs in the parks and gardens of Biarritz starting from 11 am.
- Monday: Concert in Saint Eugénie Church
STREET ARTS FESTIVAL: Saturday 8, Sunday 9 and Monday 10 June 2019
If you are in Biarritz on holiday, then don't miss the Street Arts Festival. This is an eagerly awaited and popular event in Biarritz, with a chance to enjoy original encounters with the public.
For three days, the streets of the town are bedecked with short-lived designs and surprising experiences.
A theatrical spirit will carry you from one place to the next with original street performances and giving rise to feelings of wonder in young and old alike.
BIARRITZ ROARING TWENTIES FESTIVAL: Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2019
The 2019 festival will be celebrating fashion with some wonderful parades in the seaside resort town centre!
Few European cities, outside the capitals, have managed to attract so many fashion talents at the same time as this small village on the Atlantic coast.
Fashion is France's number one industry, ahead of car-making. In Biarritz, today, there are over 300 shops helping adults and children to dress from head to foot.
In spring, we will be celebrating the centenary of fashion in Biarritz: 1919 set the stage for the roaring twenties with the arrival on the Basque coast of internationally famous designers such as Madeleine Vionnet, Coco Chanel, Jean Patou and Cristóbal Balenciaga Eizagirre.
In partnership with the town, an exhibition will look at the changes in fashion in Biarritz from 1919 to 2019. From 11 May to 23 June at the Saint-Eugénie crypt.
