Camping by the sea in the Basque Country means enjoying the beach, swimming, water sports and iodine walks, just a stone's throw from your mobile home or tent!
Water sports are endless: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, Hawaiian canoe, paddle, water skiing and wakeboarding, scuba diving, sea fishing and surfing! And it is no secret that the Basque Coast is home to the most famous surf spots in Europe: the Côte des Basques in Biarritz, La Madrague in Anglet, Parlementia in Bidart, Lafiténia in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
If you are not very comfortable on a board, you will probably prefer to enjoy hiking on the Basque Coast. Walkers will take advantage of their camping holidays to discover the Sentier du Littoral, from Bidart to Hendaye via the famous Basque Corniche.
Of course, the Basque Coast lends itself to many other activities: golf, tennis, horse riding, quad biking, paintball, tree climbing, not to mention the Basque pelota which is played on the pediment in the heart of all the villages!
